How It Works
Getting started is simple. We’ll help you figure out what comes next.
When you reach out, one of our licensed grief counselors will connect with you for an initial conversation. During this time, we’ll listen, learn more about your loss, and understand what kind of support you may be looking for. From there, we’ll work together to determine the best path forward based on your needs. This may include individual counseling, support groups, workshops, or other programs offered through the Center for Hope & Healing. As your needs evolve, your support can too. We’re here to walk alongside you—every step of the way.
Workshops, Support Groups, and Events
We offer a variety of programs designed to meet people where they are, because grief looks different for everyone.
Programs are offered regularly and may take place at the Center for Hope & Healing or in locations throughout our service area. Some gatherings may be designed for specific age groups or tailored to particular experiences, such as loss due to suicide. Some may include shared activities or a meal to create a welcoming space for connection.
- Our Workshops are more structured, offering guided topics, tools, and guided activities that help individuals better understand and navigate their grief over time.
- Our Support Groups focus on connection, bringing people together in a supportive group setting to share experiences and find comfort in community.
- We offer Remembrance Events and Memorial Services in the spring and fall. These gatherings provide meaningful opportunities to honor loved ones, reflect, and connect with others in the community.
- We offer specialized services for children and families, including Grief Camps and School-Based Programs, designed to help young people process loss in developmentally appropriate ways while providing support for the whole family.
